ALENO

With more than two decades behind the decks, Swiss DJ and producer Aleno has built a lasting presence in Switzerland’s house scene. His captivating sets and infectious energy have taken him to clubs and festivals across the country, earning him a loyal following among audiences and fellow artists.

His roots lie in Bern’s nightlife. Between 2000 and 2010, he helped shape the city’s club culture through Eleganza Entertainment. Cult events including Doublekitsch, Bon Voyage and Kitty Klub combined DJs with dancers, drag queens and MCs, creating a distinctive blend of music and performance that many partygoers still remember today.

Throughout his career, Aleno has continued to evolve with the music. Today, his sound blends Melodic House and Indie Dance with disco influences: warm melodies, hypnotic rhythms and playful grooves, guided by an instinct for the crowd and a love of emotional moments on the dancefloor.

That same approach led him to found LAGOOON. More than an event label, it is a state of mind rooted in music, aesthetics and the joy of shared experiences. A distinctive musical identity, an immersive underwater world and a community seeking authenticity give LAGOOON its character. Its launch in Bern’s newly opened Festhalle marked the beginning of that journey.

After years of DJing and developing his production skills, Aleno released his debut single “Through” with Italian DJ and producer giacca. in November 2024. His first solo release, “Vida Loca”, followed in 2025. Most recently, his collaboration with Fonsa, “Back To U”, joined the catalogue of Arodes’ Unreleased Records — adding another chapter to a career driven by passion, persistence and connection.

Warm piano melodies, atmospheric vocals and a flowing groove give “Through” its romantic character. Created with Italian DJ and producer giacca., Aleno’s debut connects dancefloor energy with the feeling of remembering someone special.

Within six weeks, the track had exceeded 45,000 streams, appeared in over 400 Spotify playlists and received airplay on more than 300 radio stations. These included Kiss FM, Energy stations in Germany, Finland and Austria, Pure Ibiza Radio, Xtra Hot, Radio One Mallorca and Hits 1 France. EDX also featured it on his NO XCUSES radio show.

The release arrived through Club Control Records within the Sirup Music family — a Swiss label with a 25-year legacy and a catalogue featuring artists such as Mas Collective, Dario D’Attis, EDX and Leon Klein.

Aleno — Vida Loca

Aleno’s first solo release brings together a memorable vocal hook, bold percussion and hypnotic rhythms built for late-night dancefloors. Released on the American/Brazilian label Groove Society Records, “Vida Loca” reflects a personal journey shaped by passion, persistence and the ambition to connect with the wider dance music community.
